Upon successful completion of intermediate or advanced courses a "Diploma Básico" is awarded. Successful completion of the superior level course awards you the internatinally recognised "Diploma Superior de Español como Lengua Extranjera" (DELE: Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language)
The DELE exam takes place in May, August and November in Malaga, Sevilla, Salamanca, Madrid and in 15 other cities in Spain, as well as the Embassy and Cultural Institutes of Spain in your home country. Over 100 centres abroad.
Spanorama schools offer an intensiv -preparatory-course which starts 3 or 4-weeks prior to the exams to obtain this internationally recognized diploma offered by the Spanish 'Ministry of Education and Science'. The exam is offered at three levels; 'inicial', 'básico' and 'superior'. To obtain the 'initial' Diploma, students require at least a pre-intermediate level, for the 'basic' Diploma, an intermediate level and for the 'superior' an advanced or superior level to begin the course.
